All provided data is submitted to the Office of Space Management on a yearly basis for the annual facility inventory reporting to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB). UNT is required by state and federal law to maintain and report this information, as it helps secure federal research reimbursements and is used to determine each institution’s state funding.

Instructions for completing a Research Space Data Collection Form

1. Complete one Form for each research space/room/area assigned to you.
2. Click the green “Space Data Form” button below to open a new form.
3. To update the previous year’s data entered for your spaces, click on each room link listed below, enter updates, and click Save to submit your form.
4. Forms can be Saved as a Draft, and accessed later to complete and submit.
5. If you share space: please work with all researchers to determine each person’s percentage of space used prior to entering the details into the online form.
